A whole wall of bookcases, made to your room

This is the full wall version of what we build every week. Floor to ceiling shelving, hand made in solid pine in our St Ives workshop, sized to your room rather than to a flat pack box.

It came out of a real job. Shelving across an entire study wall, a desk built into the run, and a Murphy bed hidden behind matching fronts. It worked well enough that we made it a standard range.

Will it fit my room?

Standard height is 210 cm. Tell us your ceiling height and we cut to suit.
Widths run from 240 cm to 440 cm in 40 cm steps. Need something in between, or wider than 440 cm? Message us before you order and we will quote it.
Two depths. 22 cm holds paperbacks, hardbacks and display pieces. 33 cm holds box files, folders, records and deeper storage.
Uneven walls, skirting, radiators, chimney breasts. All normal for us. Send a photo and rough measurements and we will work around them.

What does it cost?

Price is set by width and depth. The finish does not change the price. Pick your combination above and the price updates.

The desk and the Murphy bed are separate items so you only pay for what you want. If you would rather we quote the whole room in one go, message us with your measurements.

How long will it take?

5 to 7 weeks from order. Every piece is cut and finished to order, so nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for you.

Build it out

Integrated desk, set into the run at the height you actually work at.
Murphy bed, hidden behind matching fronts so the wall still reads as bookcases.
Cupboard doors or a drawer bank in the base for the things you would rather not have on show.
Library ladder.
Cornice and plinth so it looks built in rather than stood against the wall.
